Self-Pay

Insurance

April and Paula are credentialed with a number of insurances. We are able to file claims on your behalf. Insurance information is required prior to your first session. We will do our best to verify your eligibility for mental health services. However, ultimately you are responsible for understanding your insurance coverage.

Self-Pay

Self-pay rates are â€‹available for those clients who do not have insurance or opt not to file with insurance.

Scheduling

To schedule your initial session, please call our office at 689-4293 or 689-4294. You may also complete the form on the scheduling page and we will contact you to schedule your first appointment. Established clients may schedule by calling the office or using the client portal on the scheduling page. Frequently, once it's determined that there is a "good fit" between client and therapist, you may decide to establish a set day and time that works for you. Of course, this is not a requirement.

Appointment Length

Appointments typically last approximately 50 minutes, which is commonly referred to as a "therapy hour." Please remember that your therapist is responsible for managing session time and will let you know when it's time to begin wrapping up. This frees you to focus on you.

Hours of Operation

Client Hours are Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Business Office Hours are Monday - Thursday until 5:00 pm and Friday until Noon.

Paperwork

On scheduling your first session, you'll be requested to complete paperwork. These forms will be emailed to you and will be required to be completed prior to your first appointment. You will be able to complete and submit electronically or you will have the option of printing them out and bringing them with you. Please keep in mind that electronic submission provides the time necessary for us to review your paperwork prior to your first session and allows us to begin therapy in a more efficient manner.

New to Therapy

If you've never tried counseling before you might be a little anxious about coming - that's not uncommon. It doesn't feel natural to talk to someone you don't really know about personal experiences and sensitive information. You will gain the most from therapy if you engage from the best in you - which may include addressing these very things. We will support you in that but you will never be pressured to violate your own integrity about sharing information.
